Traffic diverted off Florida Turnpike in Sumter County
Adding to the problems for morning commuters in Sumter County is the closure of the northbound lanes on the Florida Turnpike near Wildwood, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The FHP issued a travel advisory saying the northbound lanes on the Turnpike are closed and traffic is being diverted off the roadway at Exit 304 in Wildwood to U.S. 301.
