TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A former Monticello Police Officer is now indicted in federal court on child exploitation crimes, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Florida.
Keagan Bohlinger, 26, is being charged with 11 counts of production of child pornography and 1 count of possession of child pornography.

Jury trial for the Tallahassee man is set for next month on May 26, according to the press release.
Bohlinger faces 15 years in prison and up to life in prison for each count of production of child pornography. He also faces an additional 20 years in prison for the possession of child pornography count.

The suspect was not employed with the Monticello Police Department at the time of his arrest and was terminated a few days before his arrest, according to previous reporting.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested him as he was trying to leave the county “with a car full of luggage,” per previous reporting.
According to previous reporting, officials found “numerous images and videos containing child pornography” after conducting several search warrants of his home.
