Cape Coral’s Oktoberfest wrapped up its festivities, marking the end of what organizers are calling one of the most successful festivals in its long history. The event, hosted by the German American Social Club of Cape Coral, featured music, food, and a strong sense of community spirit.

The tents were bustling with activity as thousands of attendees enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Organizers shared that this year’s festival might have broken attendance and sales records.

“It has been absolutely busy one of our record Oktoberfest, I’m sure we invited,” said Holly Jo King, the publicity chair. “We have a lot of new things this year, like maybe you have been following along, but we did open this really cool Whiskey Bar last this this season, and it’s just been so successful.”

The event was about more than just beer and bratwurst. Organizers emphasized the importance of community and giving back.

“It brings a community getting together, and like I said before, it gives us an opportunity to make these donations every year that we’d like to get to community, charitable events, charitable organizations, and help we get back to the community in that way,” said Ed Freund, chairman of Cape Coral Oktoberfest.

For Miss Oktoberfest 2025, Sara Skorak, the final day of the event was bittersweet.

“I’m already a little sad today because I’m like, What’s the last day? But I love the energy that we have here and that feeling of true,” said Skorak. “It’s that silly word that not many people can say, but it’s a description of what I’m feeling. It’s joy, it’s happiness, it’s togetherness, and I think that just totally encompasses this event.”

Organizers are already planning for next year’s Oktoberfest, promising an even bigger and better celebration.
