MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein voluntarily surrendered to authorities in Miami on Wednesday in connection with a felony charge stemming from alleged spying on her ex-husband, according to court records.
Hochstein turned herself in at the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department on Wednesday as part of a pre-arranged agreement with prosecutors. TMZ reported that the reality television star’s surrender came days after a warrant was issued in the case, which accuses her of unlawfully intercepting communications involving her ex-husband, prominent Miami plastic surgeon Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein.
Authorities allege Hochstein violated Florida’s interception of communications law, which makes it illegal to secretly record private conversations without the consent of all parties. Prosecutors claim the charge is tied to a March 2023 incident in which Hochstein allegedly attempted to obtain or record private communications involving Lenny Hochstein and others.

After turning herself in, Hochstein’s mugshot was released publicly, quickly drawing attention online for its polished appearance. TMZ described the photo as “flawless,” noting Hochstein appeared well-groomed and calm during the booking process. Her attorney, Jayne Weintraub, told the outlet that Hochstein’s surrender was voluntary and emphasized that her client “has nothing to hide” as the legal process moves forward.

The case is the latest development in the former couple’s highly publicized and contentious split. Lenny Hochstein filed for divorce from Lisa Hochstein in 2022 after more than a decade of marriage, setting off a prolonged legal battle that frequently played out both in court and on reality television. Their divorce was finalized in 2024, but disputes between the former spouses have continued since then.

Hochstein’s ex-boyfriend, Jody Glidden, is also facing a similar felony charge in the case and was arrested separately. Attorneys for both Hochstein and Glidden have pushed back on the allegations, arguing the matter is rooted in a bitter domestic dispute and should not be handled in criminal court.
Hochstein is expected to be processed and released following her surrender. No trial date has been announced.
