CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK)— The Cape Coral Rowing Club cannot move to Tropicana Park. On Wednesday, city council failed to approve an agreement that would’ve allowed the rowing club to operate at Tropicana Park.
The club previously said the location is a perfect spot.
The rowing club also said moving to Crystal Park would cost taxpayers.
Some council members pushed back and cited safety concerns. Council did not provide any direction to city staff on what’s next.
