One person was critically injured in a fire at a Lauderhill apartment building on Thursday, officials said.
The fire broke out at the building at 4046 Northwest 19th Street.
Lauderhill Fire Rescue officials said one person was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition. The person’s identity wasn’t released.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed crews at the scene after the fire was extinguished.
One apartment unit appeared to have heavy smoke damage.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
