TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – WCTV crews will be taking flight this weekend with capital city veterans to the nation’s capital.
It’s part of the 12th annual Honor Flight Tallahassee trip, which takes veterans on a trip to D.C. to see the memorials honoring their service in the armed forces.
This year’s flight takes off on Saturday, April 18. The community is welcome to come out and greet the veterans. When they return home around 9 p.m. at the Aero Center Hangar near the main terminal at the Tallahassee airport.
Our Jacob Murphey, Julia Miller and Taylor Viles will be taking the trip along with producer Grace Temple.
