Authorities are investigating after they said a man was stabbed during a robbery in northwest Miami-Dade.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Thursday when the victim was approached by two suspects who brandished knives and demanded his property, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officials said.
A physical altercation ensued and the victim was stabbed multiple times before the suspects fled with his property, authorities said.
The victim left without calling police and went to his home in the area of Northwest 200th Street and Oakmont Circle.
Deputies responded to a call of a stabbing around 10:40 a.m. Friday and found the victim in his home suffering from multiple stab wounds, officials said.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
No other details were released. The incident remains under investigation.
