Fans hoping to spend Halloween night dancing under the stars at Bayfront Park with DNCE will have to hold out a little longer. The band’s highly anticipated show, scheduled for Friday, October 31, 2025, at the FPL Solar Amphitheater in downtown Miami, has officially been canceled due to production issues.

The news broke via Joe Jonas himself, who took to X (formerly Twitter) with a heartfelt message:

“Hi guys, I wanted you to hear this from me but the venue updated your tickets before I had the chance. The DNCE Halloween show needs to be rescheduled due to some production issues. I’m working on getting a new Miami date for us all to throw an even better and more DNCE-y party than ever before. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and I can’t wait to be with you all again, love you.”

Originally announced via Instagram with a cheeky “Now you know what you’re doing on Halloween. See you in Miami 🌴⋆。°✩,” the show was set to be one of the band’s first major standalone appearances since reuniting, with tickets going on sale on October 17.

Despite the disappointment, fans responded with support and even hopeful suggestions for a new date.

“DNCE New Year’s sounds 👀,” wrote one user.

Another added, “Cancelled my flight and hotel now. Hope I can make the new date when planned. Enjoy your Halloween in London with your girls if you can then, since you’ve got a production show on the 30th. I know you’ve been booked and busy!!!!”

“Suuuper bummer. Appreciate how you worded this, we know you’re gutted. Pretty please release Blacklight though!!” another fan commented.

According to Ticketmaster, all purchased tickets will be automatically refunded to the original payment method within 14 to 21 days. Fans who received transferred tickets should note that the refund will go to the original buyer.

DNCE — Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, and JinJoo Lee — are best known for their infectious dance-rock hits like “Cake by the Ocean” and their playful, high-energy performances. Though the band went on several hiatuses, they’ve since returned with renewed momentum. Bassist Cole Whittle, who was part of the original lineup, is not currently involved in the reunion.

Joe Jonas has been making Miami a frequent stop this fall. In addition to performing with the Jonas Brothers during their recent South Florida tour stop (which New Times covered), he also made a cameo at the Latin Billboard Awards afterparty in Brickell.

While no new date has been confirmed yet, fans can count on DNCE bringing their signature groove back to Miami soon, maybe even in time to ring in 2026.
