An officer was airlifted to a local hospital after a motorcycle crash off the Gratigny Parkway in Miami-Dade on Tuesday.
The crash happened in the area of the Parkway and the Interstate 75 Extension near the Palmetto Expressway.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed a large scene in a grassy area off the roadway where the motorcycle could be seen on its side.
The officer was seen being placed on Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter to be taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
No other details were immediately known.
