Hillsborough County deputies said all students, faculty and staff are safe as the investigation continues.

PLANT CITY, Fla. — Plant City High School was evacuated Monday morning over a suspicious call, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said the school was evacuated “out of an abundance of caution,” and that all students, faculty and staff are safe.

Deputies responded with school resource deputies, the bomb team and a K-9. They’re still working to determine where the call came from.

This comes after four Plant City High School students were arrested Friday in connection to firearms found on campus. Three 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old are facing charges.

The high school was also placed on lockdown last month due to an on-campus investigation. At the time, parents said they got a message from the principal about a robbery involving two students, including one student who had a gun.
