The boutique will carry a mix of imported and artisan goods, including gourmet chocolates, candles, bath products, handmade bags, and jewelry featuring crystals and shells.
Much of the inventory has been sourced through Harper’s travels, with an emphasis on one-of-a-kind pieces.
“This isn’t going to be your typical boutique,” Gebler said. “There will be items in here that you haven’t seen before in St. Pete. Each piece has a story behind it.”
Gebler, a St. Pete native, connected with Harper by chance at a local coffee shop, where the two quickly bonded over a shared interest in art, travel, and community.
That connection ultimately led to the creation of Gypsea Blooms.
Beyond retail, the shop also plans to host small, hands-on workshops by opening the space to local creatives.
Programming is expected to include floral arrangement classes, gift basket building, jewelry making, watercolor, and other art-based activities.
“We want this to be a space where people can come in and create,” Gebler said. “Not just shop, but actually make something and connect with others.”
Gypsea Blooms is targeting an early May opening, just ahead of Mother’s Day.
