County planning is making sure Buc-ee’s has the proper easements and permissions for construction, especially for off-site work like sewage.
Local departments also asked the company to ensure they meet all Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requirements.
The meeting was open to the public and one public speaker did express concerns about the environmental impact of Buc-ee’s, mainly on how many trees would be cut down.
