Fans of Universal’s iconic green ogre and his band of misfits can check out this new collection on their next visit to Islands of Adventure.
New Merchandise for Far Far Away Heroes and Villains
“You’ve got to trust me” T-Shirt – $30
The first graphic t-shirt in the collection features a heather grey base color, with one large graphic of Puss in Boots giving a deceptively cutesy expression (characteristically, to lower his enemy’s defenses).
Shrek Youth Swim Shorts – $30
These youth swim trunks contrast the Shrek “S” logo and two bright green stripes against a vibrant base orange color.
Puss in Boots “Wanted” Tumbler – $30
Introducing a graphic that we’ll see elsewhere in this collection, this black tumbler sports a graphic of Puss in Boots in the style of a Western “WANTED” poster. The tumbler itself comes with a straw, and on the reverse side, the stylistic rapier-etched “P” is printed, the signature calling sign of Puss.
Gingerbread Man “Tough Cookie” Youth T-Shirt – $30
This white youth shirt stars the loveable Gingerbread man in a small portrait framed by the text “tough cookie” on the front torso.
Puss in Boots Baseball Cap – $30
Puss in Boots is featured again on this black baseball cap. A cartoony portrait of Puss is embroidered on the front, while “Puss in Boots” arches across the back.
Donky Brown Baseball Cap – $30
This simple brown cap features a gleeful portrait of Donkey, Shrek’s comedic and sometimes cowardly sidekick.
Shrek and Donkey Flip Flops – $32
These multicolored flip flops feature the leading duo of the early Shrek films, with Shrek occupying the right, bright green slide and Donkey starring on the left, pink slide.
Puss in Boots Wanted Poster T-Shirt – $30
The Puss in Boots poster and signature “P” mark returns for this adult graphic t-shirt, with the post spanning the reverse side of the shirt.
Shrek “Swamp Daddy” T-Shirt – $30
Another adult t-shirt features Shrek, with a stylized text graphic on the chest reading “Swamp Daddy” and the reverse side featuring a large portrait of Shrek – specifically one of the ogre’s expressions known to meme culture as the “Shrek Oop” face.
Donkey “Are We There Yet?” Youth T-Shirt – $30
Back to youth apparel, little fans of Donkey can represent the character with this brown shirt that reads “Are We There Yet?” in bold Impact font.
Puss in Boots Coffee Mug – $25
The cartoony Puss in Boots artwork returns for this black coffee mug, emblazoned with the cat’s smirking portrait and labeled “Gato con Batos” (Puss in Boots in Spanish).
Shrek Youth T-Shirt – $30
Little fans of the titular green ogre can also opt for this youth tie-die green shirt, featuring Shrek’s menacing “roar” aligned with the series “S” logo.
Donkey on the Edge Tumbler – $30
The last new drinkware in the collection features Donkey, featuring a white base and reading “I’m a Donkey” in playful font across one side, with Donkey’s grinning expression breaking up the text. The tumbler also comes with a clear straw, and the Shrek “S” logo rests along the bottom edge.
Donkey on the Edge T-Shirt – $30
The same Donkey graphic is available on a large bright gray adult t-shirt, with a graphic of Donkey enjoying one of his signature waffles on the left chest.
Don’t Mess With a Princess Fiona Girls’ Shirt – $25
Princess Fiona enjoys her own addition in the collection with this youth sleeveless top, featuring the heroine’s outlined portrait and the text “Don’t Mess with a Princess”.
Fairy Godmother Girls’ Shirt – $25
On the villain side of the spectrum, young girls can also opt for this teal Fairy Godmother shirt that reads “Can I get a Whoop Whoop!” with playful pink flourishes and sparkling star graphics.
The Fiona graphic is also available in a purely decorative item with this bright pink metal plate.
Shrek Ears Baseball Cap
Shrek enjoys two more character-focused items in this collection, first with this green baseball cap sporting a design that mimics the ogre’s face and signature ears.
Shrek Ears Bucket Hat
And, for a more subtle alternative, a second Shrek hat comes in the form of this reversible bucket hat, again featuring his signature ogre ears. A sticker denotes that this item also features a hidden pattern, revealed when wet.
We found all of these new items at Toon Extra at Toon Lagoon in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
