Charlotte County will experience several road closures in October and November.
Cochran Boulevard between Veterans Boulevard and Kenilworth Boulevard will be closed from Monday to Nov. 21 for a roadway construction project. Travelers should follow detour signs and plan for extra travel time in the area.
The Public Works Department urged motorists to stay alert and exercise caution near construction zones.
Marathon Boulevard will also be closed from Tuesday to Thursday between Treadway Road and Pinedale Drive for a road crossing pipe replacement. The closure will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Additionally, Panama Boulevard will be closed from Country Road 775 to the Ferry Landing on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving work by Ajax Paving Industries.
