After landing pick No. 11 in the 2026 NFL draft due to their poor performance in 2025, the Miami Dolphins then traded that selection to the Dallas Cowboys, moved down one spot and picked up two more Day-3 selections.

With pick No. 12, the Dolphins took Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor.

Proctor, 20, was a five-star recruit and the top offensive lineman in his class coming out of Southeast Polk High School in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. He committed to Alabama in 2022.

The 6-foot-7 monster started 39 games at left tackle for the Crimson Tide, earning All-SEC honors twice and All-American honors once. He was also named the best blocker in the SEC in 2025.
