Police responded around 6:15 a.m. to the northbound lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge. One left lane remains blocked as of 10:45 a.m.

TAMPA, Fla. — Police activity has shut down part of the Howard Frankland Bridge heading into Tampa on Friday morning.

Police responded around 6:15 a.m. to I-275 N near the Hillsborough County side of the bridge. One left lane remains blocked as of 10:45 a.m.

Authorities have not confirmed what the police activity is related to.
