FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK)— A Dunkin’/Beaches Travelmart location at Southwest Florida International Airport will permanently close Sunday evening as part of the Terminal Expansion Project Phase 1, according to a press release from the Lee County Port Authority.

The location near the entrance to Concourse B in the main terminal will close the evening of April 26. Construction will begin on a new restaurant and bar in the pre-security location.

Travelers will still have access to food and beverage options before going through security at the Dunkin’ location in the hallway leading to Concourse D, which remains open 24/7. Grab & Go concession kiosks are also available in Bag Claim near Door 2 and Door 5.

For pre-security retail, Beaches Travelmart in the Dunkin’ near Concourse D will remain open. Retail and food and beverage options are still available post-security on all concourses.

The Lee County Port Authority will continue to post updates on the airport’s website and Facebook to keep travelers informed of changes due to construction. The expansion project aims to increase capacity, improve airport efficiency and provide passengers with more amenities and options at Southwest Florida International Airport.
