TAMPA — Four people were taken to hospitals after a three-car chain-reaction crash on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
A Toyota Corolla heading south on Dale Mabry failed to stop around 9:50 p.m. April 18 and hit a Jeep Compass stopped in the center lane north of Village Drive, troopers said. The impact pushed the Jeep into a Dodge Challenger stopped ahead of it, according to the patrol.
The three drivers and a passenger in the Jeep were taken to area hospitals, troopers said. Their names and the extent of their injuries were not released.
