JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 17-ranked and No. 2 seed North Florida advanced to the 2026 ASUN Championship Final with a 3-0 sweep over No. 5 seed Jacksonville, before it fell in the Final match to No. 14-ranked and No. 1 seed Stetson, 3-0, at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala.
North Florida advanced to its third-straight ASUN Championship Final with the win over Jacksonville. With 21 wins, North Florida recorded 20 or more wins for the seventh-straight season. North Florida was ranked in the top-20 in each AVCA poll this season.
North Florida earned the sweep against Jacksonville with wins at the two, three and four line. Freshman Kamryn McDonald and redshirt junior Sophia Notaro posted a 21-14, 21-15 win at the four line. Senior pair Andrea Da Silva Encinas and Madison Espy added a 21-12, 21-16 win at the two line. Senior Presley Murray and freshman Samanatha Crosby clinched the match with a 21-10, 21-13 win at the three line.
Stetson secured the win in the ASUN Championship Final at the two, four and five line.
