WESLEY CHAPEL — A 24-year-old Tampa man died after his motorcycle hit a van turning left at a Pasco County intersection, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The man was riding a Kawasaki east on County Line Road at high speed around 9:20 p.m. April 21 when a northbound Hyundai van on Maximilian Drive turned left into his path, troopers said. The van’s driver, a 41-year-old Land O’ Lakes man, was also hurt, according to the patrol.
Both were taken to a hospital, where the motorcyclist died. His name was not released.
