Texas A&M DT Albert Regis selected by Jacksonville Jaguars in third round

  • April 25, 2026

(KBTX) – Texas A&M defensive tackle Albert Regis heard his name called as the 17th pick of the third round (81st overall) by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2026 NFL Draft

Regis was the second Aggie selected by the Jaguars on Friday, following tight end Nate Boerkircher in the second round.

In four seasons with the Aggies, Regis tallied 116 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He forced a fumble and blocked a kick.

Regis pushed his draft stock higher in the offseason, running a 4.88 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, which tied for eighth among defensive tackles.
