With the final selection of day two of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Maryland safety and former BGSU Falcon Jalen Huskey.
Huskey saw limited play as a true freshman in 2022. But 2023 saw the Maryland native break out, making 52 tackles and intercepting a team-high four passes on the way to making the All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) First Team.
Following the 2023 season, Huskey transferred to Maryland, about half-an-hour from his hometown of Gaithersburg.
In two years as a Terrapin, Huskey registered seven interceptions and 117 tackles. As a senior in 2025, Huskey was also named team captain, team defensive player of the year and Second Team All-Big Ten.
