The interactive comedy by Jeanne Michels and Phyllis Murphy is inspired by Harvey Korman and Tim Conway sketches from the old Carol Burnett Show. ‘Sis’ and ‘Babe,’ two sisters on the other side of 50, want to add a little fun and excitement to their lives and they find it in Bingo. Audiences are encouraged to stay in their seats during intermission for a round of bingo where they just might be surprised by a celebrity bingo caller.

“This sidesplittingly funny show is a wonderful treat for not only bingo fans, but for fans of good old-fashioned comedy,” says Greg Longenhagen, Florida Rep’s producing artistic director. “The male cast play these characters not as drag queens, but as distinctive, individual, and incredibly hilarious women.”

This popular touring production features Shane Partlow as Sis and Rowan Joseph as Babe.

Shane Partlow has been starring in the national tour of the Off-Broadway comedy “The Queen of Bingo” for the past two seasons. He lives in Los Angeles, where he has appeared in numerous productions including: “Superzeros” with Noah Wylie‘s Blank Theatre Company, “The Sunshine Boys” starring Dick Van Patten & Frank Gorshin at Garry Marshall‘s Falcon Theatre and co-hosting “Shane & Rowan’s Late Nite Sideshow” at the ACME Comedy Theatre. He also has the distinction of playing the ‘Roper’ in 22 separate productions of “The Will Rogers Follies” (with such stars as John Schneider, Tom Wopat, Perry Stephens and John Davidson.) Two summers ago, Shane returned to his hometown (Quad Cities, IL) and starred as ‘Will Rogers‘ in the Ghostlight Theatre’s production. His television work includes appearances on the hit TV series “Will & Grace,” “Gilmore Girls” and “iCARLY.”
