If the windows in your home were shaking one recent Sunday evening, it may have been due to the joyful commotion at the Community Center for Doris Nemtzow’s 101st birthday party. The theme of the party was “101 Years of Good Times” and a good time was had by all.
Doris looked stunning in a rose-bedecked white lace hat, and 110 guests enjoyed a delicious spread of hors d’oeuvres, dinner, drinks, and a sumptuous three-tier birthday cake with ice cream.

After dinner the event slipped into high gear, with live performances by Las Vegas-based celebrity impersonators The Edwards Twins. Their hour-long set included impersonations of Celine Dion, Neil Diamond, Sonny & Cher, and Andrea Bocelli. The staging included fantastic lighting and a concert-style sound system.
Ed Stone and Melissa White greeted the guests and introduced Doris and her daughter. The event was sponsored by the Key Biscayne Community Foundation.
