April 25, 2026 – Tampa Bay Rowdies legend Clyde Best will attend May 7 and 8 screenings of the documentary Transforming the Beautiful Game: The Clyde Best Story at the Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg. It’s the U.S. premiere of the film, covering Best’s rise from 17-year-old Bermudian at West Ham, as the first Black superstar of the modern TV era in England, to his years with the Rowdies including the NASL Soccer Bowl ’75 championship.
