JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KATV) — Jacksonville High School was placed on lockdown for about 30 minutes on Monday after a report of a person seen jumping over a campus fence with what appeared to be a gun.
According to school officials, the report came in at 10 a.m. from a resident of a nearby apartment complex. The resident contacted a school employee, who immediately notified campus police. Campus police then contacted the Jacksonville Police Department.
