A jury has acquitted a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputy who was arrested in 2025 and accused of attacking his brother in North Miami.
Jordan Aristide, 27, was charged with a misdemeanor battery. He pleaded not guilty.
According to the arrest report, Aristide and his brother were living together and got into an argument after the brother saw Aristide changing the front door lock.
Aristide was accused of charging his brother, kicking him, and punching him, the report stated, adding his brother sustained “minor bruising and a small laceration to the right side of the neck.”
Aristide declined to comment about the case or the outcome.
A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office told NBC6 the deputy was terminated in November 2025.
