After a weak cold front moved through, drier and comfortable air will settle in place. Temperatures overnight will fall into the 60s for most spots under mostly clear skies. Shower activity will come to an end this evening and we are dry overnight into Tuesday.

High pressure will build back over the region on Tuesday and this will lead to mostly quiet and dry weather throughout the day. Plenty of sunshine with maybe a few clouds into the afternoon.

Highs will be closer to average with the 80s returning across central Florida. Warmest spots found inland with the middle to upper 80s and lower to middle 80s for coastal spots. The warming trend continues into Wednesday with the lower 90s returning. The summer heat continues into the weekend.

After a Brevard County driver asked about a speed limit discrepancy of 5 mph on Pinehurst Avenue, Spectrum News looked into the way officials determine the limits on county roads.

Barbara Hobbs wrote into Traffic Inbox because north of Wickham Road, Pinehurst Avenue has a 30-mile per hour speed limit. South of Wickham Road, though, Pinehurst Avenue has a 25-mph speed limit.
