FEMA has approved nearly $97 million to fund recovery efforts across Florida as the state prepares for hurricane season.The projects will support recovery in areas such as Brevard County, Sumter County and Southwest Florida. This funding is part of FEMA’s $1.2 billion allocation for more than 200 major Public Assistance projects nationwide.The funds will address damage caused by hurricanes Milton, Helene and Ian.
