Featuring free open swim, food and refreshments, and hands-only CPR training
In observance of National Water Safety Month, the Davie Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department and Davie Fire Rescue will host a Water Safety Day and Pool Party on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center located at 3800 SW 92nd Avenue, Davie, FL 33328.
Pool admission will be free during this event. Individuals of all ages are encouraged to come on out and enjoy free swimming, learn about the importance of water safety, and meet-and-greet aquatic crewmembers and fire rescue personnel. Complimentary food and refreshments will be provided.
Activities include:
The hands-only CPR training is offered by the Davie Fire Rescue Department and will cover chest compressions, basic first aid, and real-life demonstrations. Individuals completing this course will receive a participation certificate. Please note that attendance in this training does not qualify for a CPR certification.
