Legoland Florida theme park will introduce the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience this summer, coinciding with the global soccer (aka football) tournament.
The limited-time, fan zone-style experience will include a chance to score against a Lego Minifigure as well as Lego brick versions of soccer legends including Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and (queue the boos, Orlando City fans) Lionel Messi.
The attraction “gives families the chance to be part of the tournament in true Lego style — building, playing and celebrating the beautiful game together,” Brian Bacica, vice president of Legoland Florida resort, in a news release.
Elements of the experience include Spot Shot and Super Squad challenges for all ages and skill levels, designing a soccer uniform in Lego bricks on the Heroes of Play Wall and a photo opportunity with the Lego-ized version of the World Cup trophy.
The park’s Lego Shop will sell unassembled versions of the trophy — it’s 2,842 pieces — as well as a soccer ball kit (1,498 pieces), while supplies last.
The experience will last at the Winter Haven theme park from June 11 through July 19, the same dates as the World Cup, which is being played at sites in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
