FLEMING ISLAND – Fleming Island will soon be getting its own Wawa according to building permits and a large sign plastered in Fleming Island Plantation.
The location is currently under construction at 2357 Village Square Parkway, near Mr. Chubby’s Wings, Achieve Fitness and Clara’s Tidbits. Plans for the 5,195-square-foot gas station, convenience store began in 2023. The Fleming Island location will have eight gas pumps and a total of 16 vehicle fueling stations.
Originating in 1964 in Pennsylvania, Wawa is a family-owned company known as a one-stop-shop for energizing your car and body. The robust food menu features various breakfast, lunch and dinner options, as well as fresh-baked and grab-and-go goods. There’s also a variety of coffee and specialty beverages, like smoothies, milkshakes and energy drinks.
There is no confirmed opening date as of now.
