Universal Studios Florida theme park is leaning even more into its cinematic side this summer, introducing several movie-related activities that center on Steven Spielberg, “Jaws,” a minions-monsters combo and more.
The limited-time events, set to run between May 23 and Aug. 10, feature an exhibit that goes behind the scenes of Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day,” set to premiere June 12. The film stars Emily Blunt, Colman Domingo, Colin Firth, Wyatt Russell and Josh O’Connor (“The Crown”).
For “Jaws,” the park will present a series of photo ops, interactive experiences, specialty foods and limited-release merchandise.
For “Minions & Monsters,” set for a July 1 release, there will be additional photo ops with new characters, special menu items at Minion Cafe and exclusive merch, include a shoulder-pal version of Goomi, a little green monster voiced by Trey Parker in the film.

USF seasonal favorites are back on the schedule, too. The “CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular” lagoon show is set for May 3 return, and the Universal Mega Movie Parade hits the streets of the park starting May 23. “Hogwarts Always,” the projection show on the castle at Islands of Adventure is expected to start May 30.
In addition, Universal CityWalk will host themed concerts on Saturday nights between June 20 and Aug. 15. And the Red Coconut Club will host Re(d)tro Nights (think ’80s and ’90s) on select nights between May 8 and July 18.
