Florida State takes on in-state foe Stetson in the first round of the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship

The Florida State Seminoles take on the Stetson Hatters on Friday morning in the first round of the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship on Friday morning. The tournament, which covers three days, will be held at Gulf Place in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Seminoles come into the tournament red-hot, as they have won 10 in a row and are 33-2 on the season. Their two losses on the season came against TCU and LMU, but they turned around and beat both of those teams the second time they played. They have played Stetson already this season and they came away with a win. That matchup came back on March 11 and the Seminoles won 4-1. Their only loss came at No. 2, but they swept through the rest of the matches. The Seminoles haven’t lost in almost a month and are hoping to carry that momentum into the tournament.
