MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was taken into custody after he trespassed on a boat in the Miami River, saying he was holding it for President Donald Trump, according to body camera footage.
The Miami Police Department posted a video on Facebook on Thursday, which shows police talking to a yacht owner. The owner said he confronted a man who he found sitting inside of his yacht, and the man began threatening him when asked to leave.

Officers boarded the yacht and asked the man why he was on it, according to footage. The man said he was “holding it for a friend” before he said it belonged to Trump.
Officers asked the man if he would leave the boat to call Trump, but the man refused to move from his seat, the video shows.

“I don’t have to,” the man said. “I’m a veteran of the United States Army here to protect. I’m part of the Hells Angels which protect the United States government, and I protect the president.”
According to the video, the officers called a marine patrol unit and pointed a taser at the man, telling him to comply peacefully.
The police department did not identify the man but said he was taken into custody.
MPD said he was also wanted for stealing a motorcycle two days prior to the incident on the yacht.
