TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A two-month narcotics investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office gang unit led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of drugs, firearms and cash.
Detectives said they conducted a buy/bust operation during the investigation and arrested Jose Dehoyos, 32, after he delivered two ounces of cocaine to an undercover detective.

Following the arrest, deputies executed two residential search warrants in South Tampa and on Davis Islands.
Deputies said they recovered more than five pounds of cocaine, five pounds of marijuana, multiple prescription pills, four pistols and about $40,000 in cash.
Joshua Dehoyos, 48, was also taken into custody as a result of the investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
