The Spirit took down Louisville earlier this week to add a second win to their record. They are now 2-3-1 with a total of nine points, tied with Houston, but with a five-goal differential. They are one point back from the No. 3 and No. 4 teams and six points back from the league-leading San Diego. Trinity Rodman, the USA star, scored the lone goal in the team’s last win, but it’s Leicy Santos who leads the team with three goals in six games.
In their last five games, Orlando leads the head-to-head battle, winning three of the five games, drawing one, and Washington came home victorious in one, dating back to October of 2024. Orlando won the last meeting in October of 2025, 3-2, with goals from Kerry Abello and Marta. Abello had a goal for Orlando and was credited with an own goal for Washington. The two teams drew in the only NWSL Challenge Cup match during that same span.
