APOPKA, Fla – Shots were reported in the area of Martin Street and North Maine Avenue in Apopka, where multiple vehicles and a fence were riddled by gunfire, police said.
No injuries were reported, but officials said the gunfire endangered others.
Witnesses provided descriptions that helped officers quickly locate the individuals involved, police said.
Jesus Barragan and Luis Ayala were arrested, and a firearm was recovered, police said.
They were jailed and charged with shooting into an occupied or unoccupied dwelling, public or private building, or vehicle, and criminal mischief or property damage of more than $1,000, police said.
