A woman is facing multiple animal cruelty charges after she was caught on video throwing and kicking a dog on the ground in Hillsborough County.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says Real Time Crime Center cameras captured video Thursday night showing 33-year-old Imania Davis throwing a dog “not once, but twice” on an asphalt surface.
After the first throw, Davis is seen kicking the dog when it tries running back to her.
Following the kick, Davis picks the dog up and walks with it while grabbing the animal by the neck and then throwing it again, based on the video.
The dog was taken to a veterinarian for a broken leg, and it is now recovering.
Davis is charged with six counts of aggravated animal cruelty.
