The NCHSAA baseball playoff brackets were released Monday and first-round games are Tuesday. Here’s a look at area players who have the potential to lead their teams to postseason wins:

James Garman, Croatan: The sophomore bats .358 with 20 runs, 20 RBIs, six doubles, one triple and one home run.

Auggie Morris, Croatan: The sophomore hits .361 with 19 runs, 10 RBIs, two doubles, one triple and seven stolen bases.

Harrison Thomas, Croatan: The junior hits .432 with 29 RBIs, 24 runs, nine doubles and three home runs and is 5-3 with a 1.62 earned run average and 69 strikeouts in 47 2/3 innings.

Jacob Woody, Croatan: The junior hits .333 with 22 runs, 17 RBIs, seven doubles, one home run and nine steals and is 2-1 with a 4.59 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings.

Chris Guslander, Dixon: The senior bats .328 with 10 runs, nine RBIs and three doubles and is 2-5 with a 3.35 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 46 innings.

Nick Lacugna, Dixon: The sophomore hits .319 with 10 RBIs, seven runs, five doubles and one home run and is 2-3 with a 2.57 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 32 2.3 innings.

Gavin Holmes, East Duplin: The junior bats .433 with 24 runs, 20 RBIs, six doubles, three triples and 11 steals and is 3-1 with a 2.39 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 26 1/3 innings.

Sawyer Marshburn, East Duplin: The senior bats .507 with 13 RBIs and seven doubles.

Jack Tuck, East Duplin: The senior hits .448 with 21 runs, 17 RBIs and five doubles.

Kaiden Cox, Jacksonville: The junior hits .276 with 18 runs, 11 RBIs, six doubles and 14 steals.

Vasco Sutton, Jacksonville: The senior bats .387 with 19 runs, 18 RBIs, 11 doubles, three home runs, 10 steals and is 2-2 with a 4.20 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 33 1/3 innings.

Tanner Brinson, Richlands: The junior bats .329 with 16 runs, seven RBIs, three doubles and 10 steals.

Kyler Ornoski, Richlands: The junior bats.338 with 13 RBIs, seven runs and one double and is 2-0 with a 2.22 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 53 2/3 innings.

Cooper Torrence, Richlands: The sophomore hits .319 with nine RBIs, three doubles and two triples.

Tito Escalera, Southwest: The senior hits .493 with 26 runs, eight RBIs and two doubles.

Cole Jarman, Southwest: The senior bats .490 with 28 RBIs, 11 runs and nine doubles.

Kannon Huffman, Southwest: The junior bats .580 with 28 runs, 15 RBIs, nine doubles, one triple and four home runs.

Mason Anderson, Swansboro: The freshman bats .366 with 11 runs, 11 RBIs and two triples.

Patrick Hollifield, Swansboro: The senior hits .302 with 17 runs, 13 RBIs and four doubles.

DJ Schofield, Swansboro: The sophomore bats .345 with 15 runs and four doubles and is 3-1 with a 2.91 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 33 2/3 innings.
