A 53-year-old Tallahassee man was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with critical injuries after a wreck on Lakeshore Drive, the Florida Highway Patrol said on May 6.
The driver was heading east toward Duparc Circle when, for unknown reasons, he left the roadway and hit a street sign and utility pole, a press release said.
He finally crossed Duparc Circle, landing in a ditch after also striking a palm tree. There were no other injuries or vehicles involved; the man’s condition was unavailable later on May 6.
Troopers were assisted on scene by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Leon County EMS and the Tallahassee Fire Department.
