KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WFLA) — White Castle is rapidly expanding across the Sunshine State, with its third Florida location opening to customers on Tuesday.
The newest restaurant is located at 5828 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee. Opening day drew guests from across Central Florida and beyond.

“You could say our Kissimmee Castle has been 105 years in the making,” said White Castle CEO Lisa Ingram. “We’re humbled by the enthusiasm of our fans and honored to be part of this incredible community.”
The Kissimmee location features two drive-thru lanes, along with indoor and outdoor seating, and brings 60 new jobs to the area. It’s an investment that multiple Osceola County leaders welcomed.
“Our Board is proud to support opportunities that create jobs, attract visitors, and add to the vibrancy of our community as we continue building momentum and being first to what’s next,” said Osceola County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry.
White Castle’s first two Florida locations in Orlando and Clermont have been popular with guests throughout the region, and additional growth is already underway.
The fast-food chain plans to open two more locations in Daytona Beach and St. Augustine.
Many Tampa Bay residents may be wondering when they could get their hands on White Castle’s famous sliders. Unfortunately, the wait might be a little longer.
Jamie Richardson, chief marketing officer at White Castle, shared the following statement when asked about the chain’s possible expansion to the area.
“We are continuing to look for promising sites throughout Florida, but it would be too early to share any details beyond that at this point about specific markets or neighborhoods,” Richardson said. “We’re thankful Florida has been a welcoming place for White Castle. That gives us great encouragement as we explore possibilities throughout the state.”
