Port St. Lucie police seek man accused of trying to break into car

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Port St. Lucie police are searching for a man they say tried to break into a car in a neighborhood, prompting a police response and perimeter on Friday.

Officers said they have secured a perimeter at the corner of Prima Vista Boulevard and Floresta Drive as the search continues.

K-9 units are also on scene assisting in the search for the suspect, according to police.

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area until further notice.
