NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) — Two men and two juveniles have been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in North Lauderdale that left a 19-year-old dead and another man injured.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office said that the shooting occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on May 8 near the 7900 block of Southwest Seventh Court.

When BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to investigate, they reported finding 19-year-old O’Mari Doe inside a 2020 Ford Mustang suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and 20-year-old Maurice Vorroto outside the vehicle suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Air Rescue Unit responded and transported Doe to Broward Health North hospital for treatment, while Vorroto, who suffered injuries listed as not life-threatening, was transported by paramedics to the same hospital.

Officials reported that Doe was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

According to investigators, Doe, Vorroto, and two other victims were sitting inside the Ford Mustang when Aamir Adams, Anthony Adams, and two juvenile boys arrived in a black vehicle.

Officials said that witnesses told them the suspects exited the car armed with handguns and fired multiple shots into the Mustang before fleeing the scene.

Through investigative methods, the suspect vehicle was identified as a black Honda Accord, and a BOLO (Be-On-The-Look-Out) was issued to surrounding agencies. The car was later spotted by a Fort Lauderdale Police Department officer.

The report states that a pursuit ensued, resulting in the suspects bailing from the vehicle near the 900 block of Southwest 13th Street in Fort Lauderdale. Following the bailout, the four suspects were located and arrested.

Investigators also reported recovering firearms from inside the vehicle.

Aamir Adams, Anthony Adams, and the two juvenile males have now been accused of one count each of premeditated murder in the first degree and three counts of attempted murder in the first degree, along with other charges.
