The investigation into a Miami East Local Schools staff member is ongoing, Miami County Sheriff Dave Duchak said.
Allegations of misconduct involving the staff member was reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday, March 30, but are expected to conclude in several days, he said.
WHIO-TV reported a parent complained to the Miami East Board of Education Monday night that an employee with the district sexually assaulted her daughter and the board had not taken action.
The sheriff did not provide additional information about the nature of the allegations.
