ST. LUCIE COUNTY – Two more arrests were made on Oct. 29 by St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Operations Bureau of unauthorized nudity at Little Mud Boat Ramp area.
Daphne Gay Duck, 62, and John Wayne Lorton, 66, were charged with indecent exposure. This follows six arrests made on Oct. 25 of people allegedly nude in areas outside the permitted clothing-optional beach section.
Arrested on Oct. 25 were Daniel Harrison, Donald L. Knapp, Gaetane Lambert, Steven Marhenke, Elmer Quandt and Nickolas Ramos, all on indecent exposure charges.
Deputies will maintain increased patrols in this area to ensure compliance and to preserve the safety and comfort of all residents and visitors, the sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook posting. Little Mud Boat Ramp is at Little Mud Creek on Hutchinson Island south of Fort Pierce and about one mile north of Blind Creek Beach, designated by the county as a clothing-optional beach.
