NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK) — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is currently on scene conducting an active investigation at a home in the Hideaway community.
Deputies responded to the scene located on North Tamiami Trail at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Early reports from the scene indicate the residence is surrounded by yellow crime scene tape.
WINK News contacted the sheriff’s office regarding this investigation. Deputies confirmed a search warrant was executed in reference to a special victim’s unit investigation.
One person has been detained by law enforcement.
