May 14, 2026 – Mayor Ken Welch and the City of St. Petersburg will host the 2026 Hurricane Preparedness Expo and City Hall on Tour May 27, at Lake Vista Park (at 1401 62nd Avenue S.), from 5 – 7 p.m. According to a prepared statement, residents will have the “opportunity to connect directly with City officials, ask questions, share concerns and gain valuable information related to storm preparedness and response in an open-house setting.” The expo will cover topics such as storm safety, emergency preparedness and evacuation planning.
