BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (WINK)—Southwest Florida’s dining scene is getting a new luxury addition with the opening of Acqua Bistecca in Bonita Springs.

The waterfront restaurant recently opened at Saltleaf Marina, offering a mix of high-end steakhouse favorites and coastal Italian dishes overlooking Estero Bay.

The restaurant is from celebrity chef Michael Mina, known for restaurants across the country. Acqua Bistecca is his first restaurant concept in Southwest Florida, focusing on combining premium steaks with fresh seafood and Italian-inspired flavors.

Inside, the restaurant features a modern coastal design with indoor and outdoor seating facing the marina. The atmosphere is designed to feel upscale while still embracing the relaxed waterfront lifestyle for which Southwest Florida is known.

The menu includes wood-fired steaks, seafood towers, handmade pastas, and fresh fish. Guests can expect dishes like porterhouse steaks, lobster pasta, Gulf seafood, and signature cocktails.

There is also an extensive wine selection meant to pair with the restaurant’s steak and seafood offerings.

The restaurant is now open for dinner service, with weekend brunch also available.

Reservations can be made online.
